Fractal make blooms not war6/14/2023 ![]() Creating more than one bloom at the same time earns you extra points, while keeping the number of available pushes high. But, a more important way to earn points, as in most games, is in your ability to chain your blooms. These awards coupled with limitations make sure that you are never slouching, and constantly keep you challenged.Īs mentioned earlier, you rake up points every time you successfully create a bloom. Power ups range from lightning hex blocks that upon activation will clear all blocks of a single colour, extra push hexes that add to the your push budget thus allowing you to up your score even more, and so many more. But soon, you are faced with complexities like blocks of varying colours and blocking walls that you cannot push your blocks through.Īnd while all these obstacles no doubt make it a hard task to reach your aim of making blooms, later levels award your persistence with power ups that add even more depth to the already deep game. You start the first level with just a single colour block, so at the get-go you might fool yourself into thinking that it is an easy game to play. This may sound easy, but the fact that you have a push budget, that is, a pre-set number of pushes available to you, means you have to really think your moves out before-hand. You keep doing this till you have created as many blooms as is required, and each bloom created is awarded points. You move blocks by clicking on these empty spaces, which causes the existing line of blocks to be pushed forward by creating a new block. The setup of the game involves a board covered with hexagonal blocks of varying colours with random empty spaces here and there. While the aim is simple enough, the added obstacles make it difficult to master the game’s technicalities. This causes them to dissipate, and you continue to do this with each set that you are given till you clear a level. The idea is very basic: you group similar-coloured hexagonal blocks together into a bloom, which is essentially a hexagonal block with six other hexagonal blocks attached to each of its six sides.
